Waltham Butternut Squash, 10+ Seeds NON-GMO Organically Grown

An easy to grow sweet, prolific winter squash. This variety's delicious fine textured flesh and long storage capability definitely makes it the top winter squash choice. Waltham Butternut Squash has a sweet, almost nutty taste that is similar to a sweet potato. The sweet taste of this squash is enhanced if stored for a while prior to cutting. Fruits average 9" long and 4 to 5 pounds in weight.

These seeds were harvested from a hardy, fully mature plant that was organically grown with no pesticide or herbicide use.

Start seeds outdoors after danger of frost is past. Can also be grown indoors in containers, in a sun room, or on a patio. Mature in 50-55 days after fruit set.
