Ghost Pepper, also known as Bhut Jolokia, is a legendary pepper from India, known as one of the world's hottest peppers, with readings sometimes in excess of 1,000,000 Scoville units! Ghost Pepper grows slowly at first but eventually makes a vigorous tall plant that can reach 4' in some locations. The thin-walled, wrinkled, pointed fruit are 3 to 3-1/2" in length. This strain may result in a range of fruit colors, including red, peach, and yellow. Note: This pepper is extremely hot! Handle seed and fruit carefully! Use gloves if sensitive to hot peppers.

These seeds were harvested from a hardy, fully mature plant that was organically grown with no pesticide or herbicide use from certified organic seeds.

Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before transplant date. Do not transplant outdoors until all danger of frost is past. Can also be grown indoors in containers, in a sun room, or on a patio. Mature in 120 days. Can be grown in any zone as long as plenty of sunshine and warm weather for the plant to mature.
