Scarlet Runners are one of the oldest cultivated foods of the Americas. The vines produce edible pink flowers. Hummingbirds love them and they're so pretty, some people grow Scarlet Runners for just their flowers.

They reach the snap stage in just 68 days, and if you prefer the dry shell stage, anticipate a total of 115 days for this timeless bean variety. This bean produces 8-12 inch pods containing beautifully mottled reddish-purple beans.

These seeds were harvested from fully mature plants that were organically grown with no pesticide or herbicide use.

Sow seeds directly into the soil only when danger of frost is past. Mature in 68-115 days.
