Dark Opal Basil, 25+ Seeds NON-GMO Organically Grown

Beautiful lilac leaves with dark red stems. Excellent contrast with green basil. Spectacular as a garnish, in salads, or for adding color to basil vinegars.

The fragrant oval deep purple leaves which emerge burgundy in spring.
These seeds were harvested from fully mature plants that were organically grown with no pesticide or herbicide use.

Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost date. Transplant the seedlings or sow seeds directly into the soil only when daytime temperatures are in the 70's and nighttime temps remain above 50°F. Can also be grown indoors in containers, in a sun room, or on a patio. Mature in 75-90 days.
