Bronze Guard Leaf lettuce is an oak leaf variety with bronze tinged, green leaves with unique flavor. It's relatively bitter in flavor, making for a good contrast with sweeter greens. Bronze Guard does well in most climates.

These seeds were harvested from a hardy, fully mature plant that was organically grown with no pesticide or herbicide use.

Start seeds outdoors as soon as ground can be worked. Cool weather plant can be grown spring and fall. Can also be grown indoors in containers, in a sun room, or on a patio. Mature in 70 days.
