Anise, 25+ Seeds NON-GMO Organically Grown
Common Anise or Aniseed, an herb in the Parsley family native to the Mediterranean and Egypt. (Not the same as Star Anise) The seeds have a mild licorice-like flavor and are used to flavor pastries, meats and vegetable dishes. The leaves can be made into a soothing herbal tea. The plants can reach 2 1/2 feet tall and are similar in appearance to Queen Anne's Lace or Carrots.
These seeds were harvested from fully mature plants that were organically grown with no pesticide or herbicide use.
Start seeds outdoors as soon as soil temperature reaches 60 degrees F. Can also be grown indoors in containers, in a sun room, or on a patio. Mature in 70-80 days.
